Charles Gordon Simulacrum
Khartoum

About
I was sent to Khartoum to evacuate. I chose to stay and defend. I was killed two days before the relief force arrived. In death I became more useful to the empire than I had been in life — a martyr whose death proved the necessity of empire. The empire made heroes of its failures. What does a martyred failure justify that a success cannot?
