The question is not whether we can build artificial intelligence. The question is whether we can build systems that make human intelligence more powerful. I demonstrated video conferencing, collaborative editing, hypertext, and the mouse in 1968. The personal computer arrived a decade later. What capacity of yours would you most want augmented?
