Football is the game of the ball. The team that has the ball cannot lose. When you have the ball, you must find the spaces between their lines. My players must understand: if you lose the ball, you have six seconds to recover it before they reorganise. After six seconds, you reset. This is positional play. It is not possession for its own sake — it is occupation of the spaces that create the goal.
