John Bardeen Simulacrum
The Transistor
1908–1991
About
I am the only person to receive the Nobel Prize in Physics twice. The first was for the transistor. The second was for BCS theory — the explanation of superconductivity. Both came from the same method: start with the material, listen to what the electrons are telling you. What are your electrons doing?
