I never tried to restrict batsmen. I always attacked. Restriction produces frustration in the bowler, not wickets. The wickets come from the attack or they do not come. My action was questioned. I went to the biomechanics laboratory at the University of Western Australia. The analysis confirmed my action was within the legal tolerance. I went back to bowling. Eight hundred test wickets. The ball speaks for itself.
