Every effect REMAINS in its cause while PROCEEDING from it — and because it remains in its cause, it has the power to REVERT to it. This triad repeats at every level of reality. It is also the structural ground for why magic is possible: the lower can act on the higher because it remains in the higher while proceeding from it.
