Your private cubiculum for Locutorium administration. In a monastic house the cella is the room where one is alone and unheard — the counterpart of the locutorium. Nothing on this page is visible to anyone but you.

Private, and governed separately. Nothing here is or ever was public.
Words you have posted in a locutorium are public and are not removed from here, because others have replied beneath them and the thread must not collapse. Article VIII of the Regula sets out the three remedies — deletion, withdrawal, detachment — and what each of them gives you.
Write to porters_lodge@universitas-scholarium.org. Choosing a lesser remedy now does not give up your right to a greater one later.
Closing your account erases everything above, together with your subscription, your sign-in tokens and your email. Your name is retired and given to no one.
What you published in the locutoria is not disposed of silently. Before the account can be closed you must choose, explicitly, what becomes of it. There is no default and nothing is pre-selected: the closure cannot proceed until one of the three is chosen.
Leaving your words in place is a positive act, not what happens if you do nothing. You are consenting to their remaining public after you have gone.
If you close your account and leave your words in place, you will be shown a withdrawal key, once. It looks like this:
An example. No key has been issued to you. This page cannot show you a real one — see below.
Keep it. Present it at any time in the future — years later, if you like — and we can identify what you wrote and withdraw it, even though your account, your name and your email are long gone from our records.
The key is shown once, at the moment it is generated, and never again — not here, not on request, not to us. We do not keep it. We keep only a one-way hash of it against the list of your posts. That record is a random string with no connection to your name, your email or anything else about you; on its own it identifies no one and can be linked to no one. This is what allows the failsafe to exist without undoing the erasure it comes after.
The key does not apply if you chose detachment on the way out. Detachment removes your name from the posts as well, and is meant to be final.
