Lesson 18
Now we come to the letter q. The letter q is in the same family as the letters c, a and e, and we start off as though we were making a letter a. So our line goes up, it curves, and then we come back, we go under, and we go straight up and straight down. So far, so good. If we were to stop at the line, we would have made an a. But we don't stop there. We go straight down. But unlike the g, we do our curve backwards. And we curve up light. We gently touch the back of the letter, just where the a would touch the line. And then we flick up for our connecting stroke. And that is the letter q.
