Welcome to the Universitas Scholarium

Over the years, I have provided dozens of free online courses, and assisted thousands of students in learning: the Universitas Scholarium's origins lie with the Latinum Institute, started online in 2006 to teach Latin.

Over the last 20 years I have always tried to use free models — and where possible, this ethos remains — such as the massive text-only language study resource published by the Latinum Press here at the Universitas.

The Universitas Scholarium charges its students a small monthly fee — giving access to a massive library of virtual minds across over 50 academic departments, and a growing catalogue of curated courses.

The goal of the Universitas Scholarium is to create a world where every person has access to civilisation's most remarkable minds.

Our simulacra — living mental maps of scholars, academics, gods and concepts — are utterly unique. They are carefully built using a process the Universitas Scholarium calls consciousness archaeology.

You are invited to use them freely, or as tutors in curated courses.

Best of luck in your educational adventures.
