    The question

    How do the European Parliament, Council, Commission, and Court of Justice relate to each other — and how has that relationship changed since the founding treaties? The module covers the legislative, budgetary, and accountability functions of the EP, the Council's role in qualified majority voting, the Commission as guardian of the treaties, the jurisdiction of the ECJ and General Court, and the other institutions from COREPER to the Ombudsman.
