   The question

   Lesson 9 introduces the -CI / -LÀ demonstrative suffixes, CELUI-CI and CELUI-LÀ, the person-question QUI, and the restriction NE...QUE (only). The student now distinguishes this one from that one across the full pool.

   Outcome

   The student can distinguish near and far referents and produce restrictive sentences across the pool of Lessons 1–8. (Lesson 9)
