About this course

The two routes by which an injured worker may hold an employer liable. The employer personal liability in negligence, the non-delegable duty to provide competent staff, adequate plant, a safe place and a safe system of work; and vicarious liability, by which the employer answers for the torts of an employee committed in the course of employment. The course analyses both, applies them to complex facts, and evaluates their operation.
