The statutory administrative powers under the Administration of Estates Act 1925 and the Trustee Acts 1925 and 2000, from the power to sell and invest to the power to appropriate and delegate; their duties to collect and administer with due diligence and the duty of care introduced by the Trustee Act 2000; their liability for breach, or devastavit; the relief that may be granted from liability; and the steps by which they may protect themselves, including s 27 advertisements and the Benjamin order.
