"her" का प्रयोग दो मुख्य तरीकों से होता है: -
सम्बन्धकारक विशेषण (Possessive Adjective) के रूप में: -

अंग्रेजी में लिंग-आधारित सर्वनामों का प्रयोग हिंदी से कुछ अलग है। जहाँ हिंदी में हम अक्सर आदर में "उनकी/उनको" का प्रयोग करते हैं, वहीं अंग्रेजी में "her" का प्रयोग आयु या पद की परवाह किए बिना किया जाता है।
