মূল ব্যবহার: -
"are" হল "to be" ক্রিয়ার বহুবচন রূপ -
বাংলায় "আছে/আছেন/আছি" এর সমতুল্য -
বর্তমান কালে ব্যবহৃত হয় -
কখন "are" ব্যবহার করবেন: -
বহুবচন বিষয়ের সাথে (The flowers are...) -
"you" এর সাথে (You are...) -
"we" এর সাথে (We are...) -
"they" এর সাথে (They are...) -
বাংলা থেকে পার্থক্য: -
বাংলায় বহুবচনে "আছে" একই থাকে -
ইংরেজিতে বহুবচনে "is" থেকে "are" হয় -
আদরের ক্ষেত্রে বাংলায় "আছেন" হলেও ইংরেজিতে "are" -
প্রশ্নবোধক বাক্যে: -
"are" বাক্যের শুরুতে আসে -
যেমন: "Are you ready?" -
"Where are...?", "How are...?" ইত্যাদি

ইংরেজিতে আনুষ্ঠানিকতা অন্য শব্দ দ্বারা প্রকাশিত হয় -
যেমন: "How are you?" বনাম "আপনি কেমন আছেন?" -
