বাঙালি শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য "of" এর ব্যবহার বোঝার জন্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়: -
"of" হল একটি সম্বন্ধসূচক অব্যয় যা বাংলায় সাধারণত "-এর" দিয়ে প্রকাশ করা হয়: -

বইয়ের পাতা = pages of the book -
বাংলায় যেখানে আমরা ষষ্ঠী বিভক্তি ব্যবহার করি (র, এর), সেখানে ইংরেজিতে "of" ব্যবহৃত হয়: -
