ગુજરાતી ભાષકો માટે "of" નો ઉપયોગ સમજવા માટે મહત્વપૂર્ણ મુદ્દાઓ: -
"of" એ અંગ્રેજીમાં સંબંધ દર્શાવતો શબ્દ છે. ગુજરાતીમાં આપણે "નો", "ની", "નું", "ના" વાપરીએ છીએ. -
"of" નો ઉપયોગ નીચેના સંજોગોમાં થાય છે: -
માલિકી દર્શાવવા ("the pages of the book" = પુસ્તકનાં પાનાં) -
લક્ષણો દર્શાવવા ("the color of the sky" = આકાશનો રંગ) -
સંબંધ દર્શાવવા ("the name of the student" = વિદ્યાર્થીનું નામ) -
ગુજરાતીમાં આપણે લિંગ અને વચન પ્રમાણે "નો", "ની", "નું", "ના" વાપરીએ છીએ, પરંતુ અંગ્રેજીમાં "of" બદલાતું નથી. -
