मराठीत "वर" या प्रत्ययाचा वापर: -

खुर्चीवर = on the chair मराठीत शब्दाला "वर" हा प्रत्यय जोडला जातो, तर इंग्रजीत "on" हा स्वतंत्र शब्द वापरला जातो. -
