"Some" हा मराठीतील "काही" या शब्दाचा इंग्रजी समानार्थी आहे. -
"Some" चा वापर पुढील प्रकारे होतो: -
मोजता येणाऱ्या वस्तूंसाठी (बहुवचनी): some books, some birds -
न मोजता येणाऱ्या वस्तूंसाठी (एकवचनी): some water, some milk -
अनिश्चित संख्या/प्रमाण दर्शवण्यासाठी -
मराठीत "काही" नंतर एकवचन किंवा बहुवचन येऊ शकते, पण इंग्रजीत: -
मोजता येणाऱ्या वस्तूंसाठी बहुवचन (some books) -
न मोजता येणाऱ्या वस्तूंसाठी एकवचन (some milk) -
विनंती करताना "some" चा विशेष वापर: -
