भाग D (व्याकरणिक स्पष्टीकरण)

मराठी भाषकांसाठी "in" चा वापर समजून घेण्यासाठी महत्त्वाचे मुद्दे: -

मराठीतील "-त/-मध्ये" या प्रत्ययांचा इंग्रजीत "in" असा अनुवाद होतो: -

घरात = in the house -

बागेत = in the garden -

पाण्यात = in the water -

"in" चा वापर पुढील वेळी केला जातो: -

एखाद्या जागेच्या आत असण्याचे दर्शवण्यासाठी -

एखाद्या पात्रात/वस्तूमध्ये असण्याचे दर्शवण्यासाठी -

एखाद्या परिस्थितीत असण्याचे दर्शवण्यासाठी -

मराठीत आपण सप्तमी विभक्ती (-त/-मध्ये) वापरतो, इंग्रजीत "in" वापरतो. -

वेळेसंदर्भात "in" चा वापर: -

in the morning = सकाळी -

in the evening = संध्याकाळी -

in March = मार्चमध्ये

भाग E (सांस्कृतिक टीप)

मराठी आणि इंग्रजी संस्कृतीत स्थानदर्शक शब्दांचा वापर वेगवेगळा असतो. मराठीत आपण बऱ्याचदा सप्तमी विभक्ती वापरतो, पण इंग्रजीत नेहमी योग्य preposition निवडावा लागतो. उदाहरणार्थ: -

मराठी: "मी मुंबईत राहतो." -

इंग्रजी: "I live in Mumbai."

भारतीय संस्कृतीत जागेचा संदर्भ महत्त्वाचा असतो. आपल्याकडे देवळात, घरात, शाळेत असे शब्दप्रयोग नेहमी येतात. इंग्रजीत या सर्वांसाठी "in" वापरला जातो.

भाग F-C (साहित्यिक विश्लेषण)

रॉबर्ट फ्रॉस्ट यांच्या "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" या कवितेतील हे ओळ आहेत. इंग्रजीत "in" चा वापर स्थान दर्शवण्यासाठी केला आहे. कवितेत जंगलाच्या खोलीचे वर्णन करण्यासाठी "in" चा वापर महत्त्वाचा आहे.
